Responsibilities
As a Product Owner at Fanblast, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and driving the product vision, focusing on fan engagement and monetization features. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that we deliver impactful, high-value features to enhance the creator-fan experience. Key responsibilities include:
Defining and Prioritizing the Product Backlog: Establish and prioritize the product backlog based on business goals, user needs, and market trends, with a focus on innovative fan-creator interaction features.
Collaborating Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to translate creator and fan needs into actionable product features.
Leading Agile Product Cycles: Lead product development cycles using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
Serving as the Key Liaison: Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and the development team, aligning product goals with business objectives and user satisfaction.
Gathering and Applying Feedback: Continuously gather and analyze feedback from creators and fans, usage data, and industry trends to inform product updates and improvements.
Conducting Market Research: Perform market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and enhance product value, especially around monetization strategies.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS or creator-focused technology company.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
Experience managing product backlogs, delivering features that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
Market research expertise with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and drive monetization opportunities.
Familiarity with SaaS business models, digital content, and social media platforms.
Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
Proficiency in tools like Asana or similar project management software.
Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.
